I have collected a variety of cookbooks over the years. These range from the very technical such as The Fat Duck Cookbook and On Food and Cooking. Books such as Salt Fat Acid Heat and Made in Vietnam take a more down to earth practical approach. And then there are the more narrative focussed books such as Grape Olive Pig and Gastro Obscura. They all have something to contribute and all have their special place on my bookshelf.
